Directions
The Museum is located at Mar Andreas campus of Bethlehem University in Al-Karkafa (not the main campus of Bethlehem University).
If you are coming from the Bethlehem Checkpoint 300 (next to the Rachel’s Tomb) toward the Paradise Hotel, make a left turn onto Antonian Society Street (Shari’ Al-Jamaiya Al-Antonian) after the Paradise Hotel. Go about 300 meters over two speed bumps and make a right turn onto a downhill road (look for the sign for Palestine Museum of Natural History - Bethlehem University). Go about 20 meters and enter the golden gate on the right (guard house by the gate). If coming from Manger Street toward the Paradise Hotel, make a right turn onto Antonian Society Street (Shari’ Al-Jamaiya Al-Antonian) just before the Paradise Hotel, then follow the same directions as above.
When you arrive, one of our staff or volunteers will guide you through the current exhibits.
If you are coming on foot from the Bethlehem Checkpoint 300, upon exiting the Checkpoint, take the first left, then make a right turn onto Caritas Street (this is the road leading to/from the checkpoint for the yellow-plated cars travelling between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.) Walk for just a short distance then make a first left turn. Walk a short distance toward a T-intersection and make a right turn. Walk another short distance and take the first left turn (follow the sign for Palestine Museum of Natural History - Bethlehem University). Go about 20 meters and enter the golden gate on the right (guard house by the gate). This is also a shorter way of getting to the Museum by car from the Bethlehem Checkpoint 300. Parking space is available once inside the gate.
